Privacy Policy
Fundy Foot Care ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information, and it is designed to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What information we collect
When you contact us, book an appointment, or receive care, we may collect:
- Contact information — your name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.
- Appointment details — the service you're booking, preferred dates and times, and the service location.
- Health information — relevant medical history, medications, allergies, foot-health concerns, and assessment findings needed to provide safe, appropriate foot care.
- Payment information — processed through our payment provider; we do not store full credit card numbers.
- Website information — basic analytics such as pages visited and approximate location, collected in a de-identified form to help us improve the site.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, schedule, and follow up on foot care services.
- Maintain clinical records of assessments and treatments.
- Communicate with you about appointments, reminders, and care instructions.
- Respond to your questions and requests.

Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it when:
- You have given us your consent (for example, to communicate with another member of your care team).
- It is necessary to provide a service you've requested (for example, a referral to another health professional).
- We are required by law, court order, or professional regulatory obligation.
How we protect and retain your information
Personal and health records are stored securely using password-protected systems and, where applicable, encrypted storage. Paper records are kept in locked files. We retain clinical records for the period required by professional standards and applicable law, and we securely destroy records once that period ends.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request corrections to any inaccurate information.
- Withdraw consent for certain uses of your information, subject to legal and professional limits.
- Submit a complaint about how your information has been handled.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
